Tunis Air, the Tunisian national carrier flies to most European and Middle Eastern destinations. In addition, other airlines flying to Tunisia include: Aeroflot Airlines, Air France, Air Inter, Air Liberté, Air Malta, Alitalia, British Airways, Egyptair, GB Airways, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Middle East Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Swiss Air, Syrian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, and many more...

Getting Around Tunisia ... Traveling within the country is also easy. There is a multitude of options to choose from:

- Renting a car (major car rental companies have offices in most airports and cities)

- Flying to the many regional airports (Monastir-Skanes (MIR), Djerba-Mellita (DJE), Sfax (SFA), Tozeur-Nefta (TOE), and Tabarka (TBJ))

- Taking the train (run by SNCFT), does not however serve the southeastern part of the country - where Douiret is located - beyond the city of Gabès.

- Taking the bus

- Taking a Louage (a sort of an inter-city shared taxi).

Tunisia - Louage

The last mile ... Unless you are driving or renting a car, the above listed means of transportation can only get you as far as Tataouine (22 Km away from Douiret.) To travel from Tataouine to Douiret you have to either take a taxi or rely on the very popular 'Rural Transportation' (Ennaql errifi), which is very similar to the concept of inter-city Louage but this time connecting the city center to the surrounding villages.
